Liw-Liwa Surfing Beach Travel Guide

“To escape and sit quietly on the beach—that’s my idea of paradise.”
– Emilia Weakstead
Jay and I had been vocal on how much we love Zambales. But when I think about it, we haven’t even explored half of the province. We only had been to San Antonio and San Felipe to be exact and yet, we cannot deny how much we love our go-to place, especially Liw-Liwa Beach.

We had been to Liw-Liwa for three (3) times already. We stayed at Board Culture Liw-Liwa during the first and second time, and during our last visit at Le Quvoh.

Liw-Liwa is one of the easiest beaches we went to. A 5-hour travel from Manila (4 hours if you’re lucky), one tricycle ride, without boat ride and ta-da! You’ve reached Liw-Liwa! It has varieties of accommodation  to choose from—tent pitching, tent glamping, nipa huts, and even air-conditioned rooms. You will never run out of options.

Surfing is one of the activies you can do at Liw-Liwa because of its waves. The waves during December is perfect for surfing, on the other hand, there is minimal to non-existent waves at February.

But the main reason why we love Liw-Liwa is because of the food! Wherever we went for food, we got served delicious and hearty meals usually ranging from P100.00-P150.00, not bad especially when they give big servings. Haha

Out of the times we visited Liw-liwa, we just had the best shot of the sunset.
